Everyone is really fucking sad so I want to say this once for the record.

WE ARE FREE.

And by free, I mean free from canon.

Fanon is an open field babey and we can build anything on we want on it! Anything! You headcanon Allura as living as she damn well should be? Go! You ship Heith? Go! Live your dreams! Plance? Water that garden babey! Allurance? Now they can have infinite dates! Klance? Go fucking wild! Lotura? Them is getting married now if you want! Adashi shippers you still going? Where are those fics at my good bitches!

There is a realm of infinite possibility open to us now that we’re no longer hanging on and waiting for canon. Canon means nothing when it comes to your imagination. Canon is just there. Enjoy it if you want or don’t! It doesn’t matter!

imo fanon has always produced stellar content and made the show 1000X more enjoyable. Whether you enjoyed the ending or not, there’s still so much more to come from our imaginations so let them fucking free babey.

Shows voltron fans can move onto after leaving the fandom.

This fandom isn’t going to last since many people hated the ending. Here are some new fandoms to join in if you are looking for something new to join.

1. Infinity train.

It comes out in 2019 on Cartoon Network and it has a lot of promise. It’s a mystery based show so a lot of theories will be made on what will happen. It has a Gravity falls vibe.

2. My Hero Academia.

3 seasons are out so you can catch up with it before season 4 comes out next year. Also the movie is out so you can watch that too. If you haven’t joined this fandom already you should it’s nice and the shipping is NOT too toxic like it was for the voltron fandom.

3. Miraculous Ladybug.

Season 3 just started so you can catch up just like my hero academia. It’s a great show and the plot is kicking in. The fandom is amazing too.

4. Avatar the last airbender live action series.

If you are old ATLA fans you would of heard of this. If you aren’t then I advise you to watch avatar the last airbender before the live action series airs on Netflix in 2019. The fandom is reviving.

5. Steven Universe.

The series is at its final stages but you can still catch up if you want the episodes. Get a guide on what episodes to watch since a lot of them a filler episodes. But if you want to watch them all go for it.

The fandom is good too. I’m not a full SU fan but I enjoy the fandom

6. The Dragon Prince

This fandom is so fun and the show is amazing. Season 1 has come out and season 2 comes out next year. I know many voltron fans watch the dragon prince but if you havent give it a go. You wouldn’t regret it.

7. The Legend of Zelda series on Netflix

This series is supposedly in the talks with the producers of the castlevania series. This series may happen and if it does I will be excited. The LOZ fandom is amazing as a video game series and a animated series could happen in 2019.

8. Black Sands (cartoon)

This hasn’t officially come out yet but it’s a new cartoon to air in 2019. It’s set in a Egypt setting with black characters were there are kingdoms and wars. I hope the show is successful.

I can’t think of anything else but these are my suggestions.

Curtis, who? (Season 8 Spoilers)

I got so mad after seeing all those posts about Curtis being, like, “some random dude without a name” and “was around for a couple of scenes and had just one line”, so I re-watched the end of season 7 and then season 8 and made this.

This is not accurate science, but as far as I know, these are the scenes that have Curtis in them, and also all his lines I could find.

The Finale of Voltron: ♥♥♥♥♥

GOSH!!!!! 

I’M NOT CRYING

(seriously I’m not. My eyes are wet but that doesn’t count.)

THE ENDING WAS INCREDIBLE, I LOVED IT, I LOVED THE PICTURES OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!

The fact that the studio had the courage to have Allura do what she did was awesome. I kept thinking they can’t just win without losing someone of their own team, and they didn’t, and though it’s sad, it was also satisfying in some odd way.

The music was pure love, again!! Parkhurst keep getting better and better, and the music touches me more as the seasons passed! I don’t remember the episode anymore, but it was in quite the beginning of one, when everyone was sitting around the table. That piece. Pure cinematic greatness! It was such quality, something I’m used to hearing in movies, less in tv. ♥♥♥♥♥

And Keith’s “pretty much”, I laughed a bit at that. He did the right thing, I think.He grew into a great leader, yes, but he’s at his best when he’s leading on the field. I can’t see him enjoying sitting boring meetings. :’D

Lance. Oh mi gosh I love him! The way he decided to remember Allura was sweet, and though he must’ve hurt like never before, he didn’t let that crush him. He still embraces life, he honors Allura’s memory, and he just. He keeps being the lovable person he is, and aaaaaaaaaaaa!!. He’s strong.

I was also happy for Shiro! His journey has been incredibly rough and trying, and he’s seen enough battle to last a million life times. Settling down with someone he loves is only what he deserves after everything.

It might be over now (?????), but this is an adventure I will be having again and again in the future. The characters, all the stories, the emotions, music, this kind of story that just sucks me in with its every aspect, I don’t get to experience too often.

Dreamworks, Studio Mir, everyone who worked on this show: thank you so much for your time, dedication and skill. Thank you for bringing us this story that has given me new experiences besides just watching it, a story that helped me meet and bond with new people thanks to our love to this show. Thank you for the love you poured into this, and I really, truly wish that your lights keep on shining for a long, long time still!

Voltron positivity

This is just a bunch of things I loved about s8. Which I understand if people didn’t like it but I loved it >.>

I honestly don’t understand why everyone is disappointed. Y’all are the ones who said you wouldn’t get your hopes up because you’d just be let down.

I however really loved it. Lance and Allura’s relationship was super cute. The face scales she gave him? Iconic.

I squealed when Shiro got married and they showed a kiss. They were both so happy and beautiful.

Keith and Lance had so many platonic moments and it was adorable. The sunset scene? Beautiful. Keith really is good at cheering Lance up huh?

Ezor and Zethrid didn’t die but instead became good guys. That shit was beautiful and filled my lesbian heart with joy. Zethrid loves Ezor so much.

Allura was once again so understanding and generous. She gave her life for a broken universe only because she believed the Paladins could make it better. She gave Honerva redemption despite everything she did. She learned to see past Lance’s bravado and loved what was deep inside of him.

Ryan actually talked and he has the cutest personality. Veronica was just as much a queen as last season. Ina was super funny too. Nadia should be my girlfriend. The scene where they welcomed Axca to be friends was amazing.

GOD when Voltron saved the past paladins’ spirits including Zarkons was awesome. It shows how loving Voltron is and how much they’d rather redeem their enemies than kill them.

Child Lotor is beautiful and I loved how they showed Zarkon’s and Honerva’s love for him. How much they missed their family and regretted using so much quintessence.

Everyone had happy endings, even Allura. Allura only wanted to be reunited with her family from the very beginning and I’m glad that she got to see at least her father before she sacrificed herself for the greater good. She and Honerva saved all of reality/life and it couldn’t have been a more emotionally impacting scene.

This is not to say that I’m not upset about some things in s8 but I loved the majority of it. I’m honestly really satisfied with how it ended and it’s left things open for a lot of different fan content.

okay despite how sad i’ve been i’m starting to sort of recover from s8…

here’s some positive stuff i liked:

1. obviously the 2 cutest klance scenes yet - both of them smiling at eachother… and the really soft music as they talk. they’ve grown so much to the point of openly complimenting and relying in each other. the sunset scene was really romantic and i loved how supportive keith was to lance. also, he blushed when keith asked what he was wearing. “you watching the sun set” made me yell… also i got some big bonding moment feels when they smiled at eachother. it was just so soft

the other scene where keith says “and i thought i could do everything myself” and looks at lance was really genuine and sweet. and the hand thing they did… just… made my heart swell. they love each other and they’ve come so far :,)

2. lance getting unnecessarily defensive over keith when veronica asks about getting with him. okay, lance… okay.

4. lance being awkward around allura. also his family dinner?? that was so cute and much needed.

2. pidge imitating the old pidge’s voice and giving autographs - that was cute. also, her with pigtails? yes.

3.hunk talking about food and being inspiring.

4.shiro arm wrestling and being a badass KING.

5.coran. just… coran.

6.that scene where iverson is talking about his dog

8.acxa doing pushups and also being awkward
